After ten years, there’s finally good news for Sooraj Pancholi and his family. Jiah Khan’s death shook the entire nation when the actress was found dead in her flat in Juhu, Mumbai, in June 2013. A six-page letter was recovered from the late actress’ house because of which Sooraj Pancholi was booked for abetment to suicide. The letter was made public and the case ran for almost ten years. But finally today, April 28, 2023, the verdict was given by the Special CBI court in Mumbai in this case. As per the verdict, Sooraj Pancholi has been acquitted due to lack of evidence.
The late actress made her acting debut in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Nishabd’ (2007) opposite Amitabh Bachchan. She was later seen in ‘Ghajini’ (2008) alongside Aamir Khan and in ‘Housefull’ (2010) where she played an important cameo.
Talking about Sooraj Pancholi, the actor, who made his acting debut with Salman Khan’s production ‘Hero’ (2015), is the son of actor Aditya Pancholi and actress Zarina Wahab.
