Emraan Hashmi is not known as a party person and he has always avoided going to Bollywood parties. In his career spanning of twenty years, Emraan Hashmi has never attended any glamorous film party as he always believed that that his work should speak for itself rather than anything else. But on tuesday, Emraan Hashmi made an exception and broke his own rule for good.
This Eid, Emraan Hashmi attended Salman Khan’s Eid Bash hosted by his brother-in-law and actor, Aayush Sharma and sister, Arpita Sharma at their spacious residence in Khar, Mumbai.
Emraan had a gala time at the Eid party as he not only met Salman Khan, but he also got the opportunity to spend some quality time with stars like Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Sushmita Sen, Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Jacqueline Fernandes and many others, who were there in attendance. Interestingly Emraan Hashmi has worked with many of the above mentioned stars.
So why did Emraan Hashmi chose to break his own rule of twenty years and decided to go to Salman’s Eid party? One of the industry source tells us that Emraan Hashmi was very keen to break this self-imposed rule of not attending any Bollywood parties. It’s not that Emraan don’t enjoy parties or he is allergic to them. It’s just that Emraan always believed in working hard for his films and focussing on them rather than attending parties regularly and making glamorous appearances consistently. The source continues, “But this time when he was got the invitation from Salman Khan and his family, he couldn’t say no and he quickly decided to attend the party and have some fun in between.”
But instead of making a splashy entry into the party, Emraan Hashmi chose to make a quiet and subtle presence. With his calm and cool demeanor, Emraan attracted the attention of the media covering the party over there and made his presence felt in the party.
Interestingly, the buzz is that Emraan Hashmi will be playing a pivotal role in Yash Raj’s upcoming film ‘Tiger 3’ along with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. This is the first time that Salman and Emraan will be working together in any film. Although official announcement of Emraan working in ‘Tiger 3’ is yet to be made by Yash Raj Films.
Apart from ‘Tiger 3’, Emraan is also doing a film called ‘Selfiee’ with Akshay Kumar, which is also his first collaboration with Kumar. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Emraan Hashmi was recently seen in a video song titled “Ishq Na Karate”. Released on his birthday on 24th March, the song got millions of hits and was hugely appreciated by Emraan Hashmi fans.
