– Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s next film in Calcutta, decided to take some time off from his shoot and have a press conference in Calcutta itself for the promotions of ‘Wazir’, as he could not travel back to Mumbai for the promotions.

– Sonakshi Sinha grooves to the beats of her maiden single, “Aaj Mood Ishqholic Hai”, which she recorded for T-Series. The peppy hip-hop number is composed by Meet Bros and lyrics are by Kumaar. Directed by Gifty, the track is well choreographed but is average overall. The excessive programming has killed the party mood!

– Deepika Padukone is on vacation and took off for a trip with her girl friends. The reason for this ‘all-girls’ trip is one of her best friends’ bachelorette party. They are a group of 5-6 girls who are childhood friends from Bangalore.
– Priyanka Chopra has opposed the release of the juvenile convict in the December 16 gang-rape case. She expressed her views on the Nirbhaya case at the trailer launch of ‘Jai Gangaajal’.

– Ajay Devgn’s First Look from ‘Shivaay’, shot in the laps of Himalayas in Landour was released. It shows him hanging off the cliff with just a support of a single rope. Ajay Devgn is playing the lead and is directing the film. It also stars Sayesha Saigal.
– ‘Mastizaade’s trailer is on your face and is one of the rawest sex comedies to be releasing in Bollywood. The jokes are over the top, vulgar and forced into the narrative. Sunny Leone will be seen playing double roles in the film. Starring Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, it is slated to release on January 29, 2016. Riteish Deshmukh stars in a special appearance.
– The trailer of ‘Jai Gangaajal’ has been praised from all quarters. Piyanka Chopra plays a fierce cop who takes on the villains with her army of policemen. She even tweeted, “Here it is… The quickest film I’ve ever shot! Introducing #AbhaMathur in a role & film I am so very proud of.” The film is not a sequel of the 2003 film ‘Gangaajal’ but is instead a fresh story about the society-police relationship. Written and directed by Prakash Jha, produced by Prakash Jha Productions and Play Entertainment and co-produced by Milind Dabke, ‘Jai Gangaajal’ releases on March 4, 2016.

– ‘Teraa Suroor 2’, which is the sequel to the surprise hit ‘Aap Kaa Surroor’ will release on March 11, 2016. Himesh Reshammiya will be seen in an extremely toned six pack physique. It stars Farah Karimi, Naseeruddin Shah, Shekhar Kapoor, Kabir Bedi, Shernaz Patel and Monica Dogra. Directed by Shawn Arranha and produced by T-Series and HR Musik, shooting was recently completed in Dublin.
– ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ will now release on March 4, 2016. It is a contemporary love story directed by Deepak Tijori, with Randeep Hooda and Kajal in lead roles.
