The said investigation’s team ordered four sarees from Indiarush.com, and was surprised to know that the quality and the material delivered were below par and defective.
The team went into details of the website as it had lot of celebrity endorsements and was totally shocked as all the pictures carried by the company was without the permissions of them and they requested the team to solve this issue about this online fraud. World News Network spoke to celebrities and this is what they said.
Chitrangada Singh: “I am not associated with any online shopping websites.”
Gauhar Khan: “I am not associated with any such kind of shopping websites.”
Drashti Dhami: “Oh My God, they are using my pictures, it’s totally fake and I am not endorsing for any online shopping companies. Please as the media, you should do something to reveal the truth.”
Mandira Bedi: “I am shocked to hear about that online shopping company and I am not associated or have ever endorsed any such kind of companies. I don’t know why are they using my photograph. Now my team will follow them.”
Monica Bedi: “Actually online is a big gambling nowadays. I have faced many times this kind of situation as being an actor, we sometimes do photo shoots for designers as they provide the clothes. Sometimes these kind of companies do photo shoots with some other models and use our pictures on the models’ photo.”
Sushmita Sen: Her spokesperson said Sushmita Sen was interested in endorsing or launching some online shopping material but now she is not keen to be associated with any online platforms and she has not endorsed for Indiarush.com for sure.
Mahika Sharma: “I have done photo shoots for many designers. But I have not done any for such marketing people even though I was been approached.”
The names don’t end here. Other celebrities whose pictures and names that were used for reference are Mouni Roy, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Sridevi, Kajol, Shraddha Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and others. When contacted at the time of filling this story, they were unavailable for comment.
