Sharon Stone has ruled the ‘90s with her versatility and charisma in films like ‘Total Recall’ (1990), ‘Basic Instinct’ (1992), ‘The Specialist’ (1994), ‘Casino’ (1995), among others. She has always seen super energetic with her work and is still impressing the world even at the age of 64 now.
One can never say what a person is going through in her life by seeing her enthusiasm and devotion towards her works. Sharon has finally gathered her courage and opened up about her dreadful situations in her life to People and shared that she has suffered miscarriages nine times. She said, “We, as females don’t have a forum to discuss the profundity of this loss. I lost nine children by miscarriage.”
Stone is now a mother of three sons through adoption. She adopted the eldest son, Roan Joseph Bronstein, who is now 22 years old, with ex-husband, Phil Bronstein. Later after the couple got divorced in 2004, Sharon adopted two sons further, Liard Vonne Stone, who is 17 years old and Quinn Kelly Stone, who is 16 years old in 2005 and 2006 respectively.
While talking to People, she also shared, “It is no small thing, physically nor emotionally yet we are made to feel it is something to bear alone and secretly with some kind of sense of failure.”
“Instead of receiving the much-needed compassion and empathy and healing which we so need. Female health and wellness left to the care of the male ideology has become lax at best, ignorant in fact, and violently oppressive in effort”, she continued.
We got to know that Sharon has recently again had a miscarriage during the pandemic and spoke publicly about this first time. She shared that she found herself on her 5-year-old son, Shai’s room lying on the floor, unable to move, as she was tested positive for Covid-19 prior. She was put into an ambulance in front of her son and that was too pathetic situation for her. She said, “I had no strength. I couldn’t open a dishwasher. I couldn’t open the fridge to feed Shai, to get him some toast. It got so bad that my breath was starting to be affected. It was really dramatic.”
