Veteran director and producer Martin Scorsese to be honored with Legend Of Cinema Award

Hollywood Industry is going to witness one of the biggest award events of the year, CinemaCon 2023. The event will be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from April 24 to 27.

The four-day event is going to be a star studded affair, and many renowned personalities are expected to attend the said event.

We have learned that Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese will also attend the event, and the veteran will be conferred with the Legend Of Cinema Award for his achievements and contributions. The honour will happen during a sit-down lunch discussion with Scorsese following Paramount Pictures’ Thursday morning presentation on April 27.

According to reports, Scorsese’s career will be reviewed during the CinemaCon lunch, and an exclusive glimpse of his new film, ‘The Killers Of The Flower Moon’ is also expected to be screened at the event.

Martin Scorsese, is actively working in the industry for sixty-one years and is best known for films like ‘Mean Streets’ (1973), ‘Taxi Driver’ (1976), ‘Raging Bull’ (1980), ‘The King Of Comedy’ (1982), ‘After Hours’ (1985), ‘Goodfellas’ (1990), ‘The Age Of Innocence’ (1993), ‘Casino’ (1995), ‘Gangs Of New York’ (1992), ‘The Aviator’ (2005), ‘The Departed’ (2006), ‘Shutter Island’ (2010), ‘Hugo’ (2011), ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ (2014), ‘Silence’ (2016), ‘The Irishman’ (2019), etc.

The 82-year-old director is gearing up for his next ‘The Killers of the Flower Moon’ with Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead. The film is based on David Grann’s best-selling book with same title, and will have its premiere on May 20 at the Cannes Film Festival. It will have a theatrical release in October 2023.
