Recently, there have been reports that Salman Khan and director Karan Johar are in talks for an exciting film, that will hit theatres on Eid 2024. While details were being kept under wraps at the time, it was learned that the film under consideration would be a big-budget blockbuster.
According to the latest news, talks between the two have been ongoing from some time and the latest development is that ‘Shershaah’ (2021) director Vishnu Vardhan has reportedly been finalized to direct the project. Though the proverbial dotted line is yet to be signed by all parties involved, progress has been steady.
If this project materializes, then both Salman Khan and Karan Johar will collaborate on a film after a twenty five-year hiatus. The last tilm both worked together was for Karan Johar’s debut directorial ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ (1998) which featured Salman in a supporting role.
Meanwhile, in 2014, Salman Khan was supposed to star in Johar’s Dharma Productions film titled ‘Shuddhi’. But this ambitious project, which was to be directed by ‘Agneepath’ (2012) director Karan Malhotra, was shelved.
