The makers of ‘Afwaah’ recently released the trailer, which has received positive feedback front the audiences. Directed by Sudhir Mishra, this social drama stars Bhumi Pednekar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sumeet Vyas and Sharib Hashmi.
‘Afwaah’ makers have now released the song “Aaj Yeh Basant”, following the release of the trailer. Shamir Tandon has composed the song and it is sung by Sunetra Banerjee, while Dr. Sagar has written the lyrics. The song attempts give a better idea of the film’s plot. It discusses the aftereffects of a rumour that causes the entire town to chase Bhumi Pednekar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
‘Afwaah’ shows how rumours put lives of individuals in danger and spreads chaos in the society. The movie, which is produced by Anubhav Sinha under his banner Banaras Media Works, will release on May 5, 2023.
