Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam got a bunch of melodious tracks in Sanam Re, the last film they did together. However, they did not get much of an opportunity to show their dancing prowess in the film. Yes, there was a promotional track “Akkad Bakkad” which had a bit of dancing in it but it was centred around composer/rapper Badshah who also featured in the video. The opportunity to showcase their dancing skills seems to have come around with Junooniyat as Nachange Saari Raat, the first song released from the film, is an out and out dance number.
The video, which has Pulkit and Yami grooving to some pulsating beats, has been composed by Meet Bros Anjjan and written by Kumaar. As the film is primarily a romantic drama, one would have expected the makers to unveil a romantic number first. Instead, they chose to release a dance number. Considering the fact the song is very catchy and has the potential to become a club favourite, the decision was not bad at all.
With just a month to go for the film’s release, one expects the makers to release the songs in quick succession as that would definitely help in strengthening the film’s prospects at the box office. After an upbeat dance number, one looks forward to hear a couple of mellow, love songs from this film which is being pitched as an intense romantic drama.
