Tigmanshu Dhulia’s highly-anticipated war drama Raag Desh released today featuring Mohit Marwah, Amit Sadh and Kunaal Kapoor. The talented Mohit Marwah blessed with a rich baritone has delivered a stupendous performance in the movie based on the Red Fort Trial of three officers of the Indian National Army – Prem Kumar Sahgal (Mohit), Shah Nawaz Khan (Kunal Kapoor) and Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon (Amit Sadh).

The industry, trade and audiences alike, have been all praise for Mohit as he took on the role of the feisty Lt. Prem Kumar Sahgal with great aplomb. For those who have seen the patriotic drama couldn’t stop raving about Mohit’s terrific screen presence and impressive dialogue delivery also suggesting that he is one of the major USPs of the movie.

Here’s what they have to say:

Mid Day: The most famous officers in this courts-martial case were an ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ sort of national-integration trio: Shah Nawaz Khan (Kunal Kapoor: to my mind, the most under-rated leading man around), Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon (Amit Sadh: adept), and Prem Sehgal (Mohit Marwah: studiedly silent).

Deccan Chronicle: Mohit Marwah, who marked his acting debut with Fugly in 2013, is surprisingly good as Captain P K Sahgal. His dialogue delivery, emotions and expressions are excellent. Looks like he has very much arrived! Luckily he got a nice screen presence too. It shows that Mohit is completely a director’s actor.

Koimoi: Mohit Marwah is my favourite from this film. What a performance! He is super impressive in the avatar of Lt Col Prem Sahgal.

News Recorder: Mohit Marwah in the character of Colonel Prem Sehgal gave the excellent performance.
