IIFA 2023 winners list: Brahmāstra wins the maximum awards followed by Gangubai Kathiawadi; Drishyam 2 wins Best Film award

Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kamal Haasan, Sara Ali Khan, Vicky Kaushal, etc., flew down to Abu Dhabi to celebrate the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA). The IIFA 2023 was nothing short of spectacular, with performances by Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan and other celebrities. Vicky, along with Abhishek Bachchan, Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao, hosted the event and entertained the guests.

The biggest winners at IIFA 2023 were ‘Drishyam 2’ (2022), ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’ (2022) and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ (2022). This year’s IIFA Best Picture award went to Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam 2’, while Hrithik Roshan won the Best Actor for his work in ‘Vikram Vedha’ (2022). Alia Bhatt was honoured with the Best Actress award for her work in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directoria also received four other honours including Best Debut Male to Shantanu Maheshwari and Best Cinematography.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Brahmāstra : Part One – Shiva’ took home the most awards at IIFA, including Best Singer Male for Arijit Singh and Best Singer Female for Shreya Ghoshal, as well as Best Music Director for Pritam. On the other hand, R. Madhavan won the Best Director for ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ (2022).
