The famous ‘90s TV show ‘Friends’ (1994-2004) star Matthew Perry, who played the role of Chandler Bing, will be writing his autobiography. He is going to share his past struggles, the days of drug abuse, about his career and his memory in ‘Friends’ in his upcoming memoir.

The book will be published by Flatiron Books, a division of Macmillan. Megan Lynch, the publisher of Faltrion Books is all set to publish Perry’s memoir. In an interview she said, “We need humour, we need catharsis and we need to agree on something and Matthew’s extraordinary story, told in his inimitable voice, in that thing. Matthew’s book has unrivalled potential to bring people together, which feels especially galvanizing right now, a time of isolation and division.” The book is still untitled but it is slated to be released in 2022.

Matthew Perry had battled addictions to Vicondin, Methadone, Amphetamine and alcohol over the years and also completed two stints in rehab.
