In future editions of his biography, ‘Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing’, actor Matthew Perry has promised to remove his controversial comments about actor Keanu Reeves. After facing criticism for discussing Reeves in his book and raising the question of why the actor is still alive while outstanding performers and creative minds like Chris Farley and River Phoenix had already passed away, the ‘Friends’ (1994-2004) actor issued an apology.

During the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, held on Saturday the actor stated, “I said something stupid. It was a mean thing to do. I chose his name because we share the same street. I’ve publicly apologized to him. Any future editions of the book will not include his name.”

Perry also stated that while he has not personally apologized to Reeves, he intends to do so. “I’ll apologize if I run into him. It was just stupid,” Perry remarked.

Back in October, Perry quickly apologized for the remark by stating, “I’m actually a great fan of Keanu. My mistake was that I just picked a name at random. I apologize. Instead, I should have used my own name”.
