For Jason Momoa, the superhero film ‘Aquaman’ (2018) is quite special as he received immense love and it has also helped him expand his fan base.

Now, the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) is all set to release its sequel, ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’ this year in which Momoa has reprised his role as Aquaman. But currently it’s been reportedly heard that Momoa might not return for the third ‘Aquman’ film in future.

According to reports in the US media, Jason Momoa felt that the script of the next sequel is terrible. Not only that, reportedly, ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’ has also received poor response after its test screening. Some viewers have also claimed that the sequel is possibly one of the worst film of DCEU.

Hence it can be assumed that the future of ‘Aquaman’ is almost getting lost. The upcoming sequel is also the last film of Jason Momoa with DCEU.

According to reports, an insider named Jeff Sneider revealed that Momoa might feature as Lobo in future, “I hear it’s terrible and that’s why Momoa is gonna be Lobo going forward. But they can’t say that yet because then it would be a lame duck and DC is hoping to wring another billion out of the box office. First one was awful too, so not a huge surprise.”

For the unversed, Lobo is a DC character, which was created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen. It first appeared in the book, The Omega Men #3 in 1983. Lobo is an alien from the utopian planet of Czarnia and he works as an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter.
