Although Alia Bhatt has been working in the industry since her childhood, she made her debut in the lead with ‘Student Of The Year’ in 2012 and now she has become one of the top celebrated actresses in the industry.

Certainly, it has been quite a memorable decade for her, as she has persistently given remarkable films like ‘Highway’ (2014), ‘2 States’ (2014), ‘Kapoor & Sons’ (2016), ‘Dear Zindagi’ (2016), ‘Raazi’ (2018), ‘Gully Boy’ (2019) and many more.

In just 10 years, she has achieved this enviable position and this year, her stardom has gone many notches higher. In 2022, she was seen in four films such as ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘RRR’, ‘Darlings’ and ‘Brahmāstra’. Except ‘Darlings’, which was an OTT film though it was highly critically acclaimed, the rest of the films were huge successes and this is also an achievement as this year, almost all the films have suffered huge losses at the box office. But for Alia Bhatt, no doubt it has been one fortunate year. Whether it’s in cinemas or on OTTs, her films have remained in the top list.

And now to celebrate the winning of The Time100 Impact Award, journalist Laura Zornosa from New York Times has given huge shout out to her success. In one line, Laura has again made us feel proud of our very own Alia as she said, “Alia Bhatt Acts Like a Modern Woman — Flaws and All.”
