Ever since the slap incident happened at the Oscars in March, Will Smith and Chris Rock have been through heavy controversies. Even today, it’s still one of the hottest news on social media and flooded with videos related to the incident. Will Smith even have got banned by Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences from attending the Oscars for 10 years.

Will Smith only came active on social media to apologize to Chris Rock, the audiences and the Academy Awards in these past 4 months and have then gone totally isolated. He was first spotted at the Mumbai airport after a month of isolation in April. He stayed only from 3 days at JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai and visited the Iskcon’s Sri Sri Radha Vrindabanbehari Temple and the spiritual leader, Sadhguru; after which, he again went off the radar.

After that, yesterday on August 20, Smith has finally come back to social media with a non-apology post, specifically a hilarious video, which shows a baby Gorilla poking and lurking the back of a grown Gorilla. There is a text appears in the video, which reads, “Me trying to get back on social media.” The post has already received more than a million likes on Instagram and fans have flooded the comment section with best wishes for him.

Even Smith’s ex-wife, Sheree Zampino has also recently opened up about the slap controversy and requested people for his forgiveness, as she thinks there is no healing without forgiveness. Zampino commented a heart emoji in Will’s funny post to support the actor.
