Eijaz Khan was alone in his house during the entire lockdown and explains how it troubled him mentally.

He says, “I think many people must have been mentally disturbed because of problems during the lockdown and they should be counselled. I cried myself many times in the first month because I didn’t see the condition of the workers going back home. I feel bad I had resources. The last few days gave me an opportunity to introspect which proved very useful for me. I was also depressed a lot. Because I could not talk more openly, I started living in myself. I was quite There was no account for hours and was busy on social media all the time. ”

The 45 year-old actor then decided to have a routine. This involved interacting daily with his friends and family members, exchanging food with neighbours and although he is not very religious, he started praying five times a day. He now considers praying like meditation and he continued this even after lockdown because it gives him great relief.

Eijaz also became the foster parent of two pet dogs during lockdown. He lost two of his pets in a year. He shares, “I brought a female dog home and named her Blossom. When I found her, she was in a poor condition. She was tied on the highway for two weeks and had maggots all over her body. She was in great need of love but truly he saved me. Taking care helped him to get me. Taking care of him made every difficulty easier.”
