‘Servant Of The People’, which was released in 2015, is a story about Vasyl Petrovych Goloborodko, a thirty-year-old high-school history teacher, who is elected as the President of Ukraine, after a video of him ranting about the corrupt government goes viral. The satirical comic series stars President Of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the lead role.

Netflix has recently announced that they are going to add back ‘Servant Of The People’ in their catalogue, owing to the huge requests from the viewers again. The show was previously available on Netflix from 2017 to 2021.

Just few weeks ago, Netflix had suspended its service in Russia due to the war, to support Ukraine. The giant OTT platform also announced that it would pause all the further projects from Russia. A spokesperson of Netflix said, “Given the circumstances on the ground, we have decided to suspend our service in Russia.”

Although, Netflix is sort of a newcomer in Russia, as it launched its service in 2016 with roughly one million subscribers.
