Star Trek actor Dwight Schultz turns 74 this year

The popular actor Dwight Schultz turned 74 years old on 24th November. He is widely known for his significant roles in ‘The A-Team’ (1980-1987) series as Captain Howling Mad Murdock and as Reginald Barclay in ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ (1987-1994), ‘Star Trek: Voyager’ (1995-2001) and the film Star Trek: The First Contact’ (1996). He has also done few children’s animated series such as ‘CatDog’ (1998-2005) and ‘Chowder’ (2007-2010).

It’s been more than three decades Dwight Schultz has been working in the industry. He got his fame for his stellar performance in the show ‘The A-Team’. His role, Captain Howling Mad Murdock was a mentally unstable character, who is a craft pilot. The series ran on NBC channel for five years. After the show became commercially successful, he got one after one shows and many movies and all went successful. He was next seen in ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ as Reginald Barclay, which also went super successful. Then he went onto reprise the role in the other ‘Star Trek’ shows.

In the year 2009, Dwight also hosted a radio show named ‘Howling Mad Radio’ and fans were excited to hear his voice. He has also worked as a voice actor for video games like ‘Spider Man: Web Of Shadows’, ‘Fushion Fall’ and ‘Terminator Salvation: The Video Game’.
