Sonakshi Sinha is ready to make her digital debut with ‘Dahaad’, helmed by Reema Kagti. In this criminal drama thriller, she will be seen playing a tough cop, on the hunt for a serial killer, for the first time. Following the teaser, the trailer was released today, and it looks quite impressive. Fans have been blown away by Sinha’s portrayal of brave Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhatia and her powerful dialogue delivery.
The actress shared the trailer on Instagram and requested feedback from her followers. She wrote, “She’ll uncover the truth… no matter what it takes,”. The trailer for #DahaadOnPrime, a new series, and my digital debut, which premieres on May 12 only on @primevideoin, is out now.”
Apart from Sonakshi Sinha, the show also features Sohum Shah, Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah in important roles.
The eight episode web series, directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, has been created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar under the banners of Tiger Baby Films and Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment. ‘Dahaad’ will release on May 12 on Amazon Prime Video.
