In our film industry, different festivals seem to be belonging to different superstars. ‘Independence Day’ belongs to Akshay Kumar, ‘Christmas’ belongs to Aamir Khan, ‘Diwali’ belongs to Shah Rukh Khan, then the festival of ‘Eid’ belongs to Salman Khan.
Salman Khan has been literally nailing Eid after Eid every year where fans of ‘Bhaijaan’ go in huge numbers to contribute to the massive collections which his film earns.
That’s why we see that even with a movie like ‘Race 3’ (2018) which was ‘critically’ a failure and underperformed, still earned more than Rs. 170 crores at the box office, a feat many films would crave to earn even in their lifetime.
And while we aren’t over with the flavour of Salman’s ‘Eid gift’ of 2019, we are already gearing up for Eid 2020 because it will mark Salman Khan’s comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after ages. What’s more, the presence of Alia Bhatt is highly anticipated. Salman will be sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt for the first time and ‘Inshallah’ has all the ingredients for it to be her biggest film ever.
Given the buzz the movie has already generated, it is expected to be only bigger and better than ‘Bharat’.
