Rajveer Deol is making his acting debut opposite Paloma in Avnish Barjatya’s directorial debut ‘Dono’. And as he forays into the industry we look back at some other film families who have their third and fourth generations, taking their legacy forward. Rajveer, who is Sunny Deol’s younger son, hails from the third generation of the Deol family and just like his father and grandfather – Dharmendra, Rajveer is all set to win hearts.

Another one is Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, who is entering the film industry soon. He will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ and like grandfather and uncle Abhishek Bachchan, Agastya also looks like a promising force to reckon with.

While Rajveer and Agastya are the third generation flag bearers of their lineage, Avnish Barjatya represents the fourth generation from his family’s legacy. Avnish’s great grandfather, Tarachand Barjatya established Rajshri in 1947, his grandfather Rajkumar Barjatya and father Sooraj Barjatya took the legacy forward.

Similarly, Ranbir Kapoor also represents the fourth generation from the Kapoor clan and has made a mark for himself as this generation’s superstar. Touted as a bankable actor in Hindi cinema, Ranbir has beautifully taken the legacy of father Rishi Kapoor, grandfather Raj Kapoor and great grandfather Prithvi Raj Kapoor ahead.
