“Ramayana to go on floors in 2023-end; Nitesh Tiwari to follow James Cameron’s filmmaking approach” – Madhu Mantena

It has been reported since a few years that A-list Bollywood celebs will appear in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the epic, ‘Ramayana’. The film’s producer, Madhu Mantena, recently spilled the beans, focusing on how the project is a great responsibility for Nitesh Tiwari.

Names of Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan have been rolled out to play the lead roles in the epic drama and audiences have been curious about the casting in this highly awaited film.

According to the speculation, Nitesh Tiwari is preparing a live-action trilogy based on the Ramayana, which Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra will bankroll. Madhu Mantena discussed the movie’s pre-production process in detail and when it will go on floors.

“A magnum opus like the Ramayana requires intense pre-production work to get it right,” Mantena stated in an interview. “Every detail, from VFX to costumes to creating the Ramayana’s setting, is extremely important. A sizable group of highly skilled individuals from all around the world are currently working assiduously on it under the guidance of Nitesh Tiwari.”

The producer also stated that filming would start by the fourth quarter of 2023. He also added that Nitesh Tiwari is following James Cameron’s filmmaking approach with the aim to complete the high-budget film.
