A special documentary series about former England football captain, David Beckham is currently in production at Netflix.
The OTT giant unveiled the news just few hours ago on its official Twitter handle and revealed that the series features a mixture of some unseen personal stories of last 40 years of the footballer and his family, friends and colleagues will sit for several interviews to tell the audiences how Beckham became one of the most recognizable athletes of all time.

On the other hand, to show his excitement, David posted three pictures of himself, which are over the course of his career on his Instagram handle and wrote, “I’m excited to confirm that I am partnering with @Netflix on a documentary series about my life and career.”
According to Deadline website, the yet-to-be-titled documentary will be directed by Academy Award-winner duo, Fisher Stevens and John Battsek and Beckham’s Studio 99 will jointly produce in association with Battsek’s Ventureland.
