It is one hyped film against another. While Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’ is his labor of love that has taken three years from inception to release, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan’s ‘MSG The Warrior – Lion Heart’ is his mega venture which is all set to hit the screens as well. With the clash of both biggies at the box office, one keenly awaits the content that both films have to offer.

“It is going to be quite exciting since both films are aiming for a mega release across the country. MSG The Warrior – Lion Heart is the third installment in the MSG series and the loyal audience, especially in the North, have plans set to watch the film in dozens. On the other hand Mirzya too is set in North India and has the folklore of Mirza Sahibaan as its base,” informs our source.

There is going to be a fierce battle for procuring the best screens since makers of none of the two films are expected to bow down to any kind of pressure.

“There is a massive base of followers that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan enjoys. Moreover, the film is also releasing in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions. That would ensure a good presence for the film down South too. On the other hand Mirzya has Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra at the helm of affairs with Anil Kapoor’s goodwill coming in handy too. After all, his son Harshvardhan Kapoor is getting launched along with Saiyami Kher,” our source adds.

‘MSG The Warrior – Lion Heart’ based on the theme of good winning over evil, it couldn’t have been better timed too. After all, it is the week of Dusshehra and the very festival carries the significance that the film’s theme carries.

“With the kind of action and special effects that the film has to offer, rest assured audiences in interiors at the least should be enthralled,” an observer comments, “At single screen especially, expect good crowds to be thronging MSG The Warrior – Lion Heart.”

The results would be out there for all to see on 7 October.
