Mili motion posters unveiled; Janhvi Kapoor’s jolly and terrified looks make netizens inquisitive

This year Janhvi Kapoor has surprised with her back-to-back projects featuring unique stories. It started with ‘GoodLuck Jerry’ and now she’s followed it up with ‘Mili’. It was announced last year and since then, we are all eagerly waiting to watch Janhvi in this new avatar. For those who are unaware, ‘Mili’ is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit film, ‘Helen’, which was released in 2019. Anna Ben had played the lead role in the film, which said to be quite thrilling and hence, the announcement of the Hindi remake got our hopes up.

‘Mili’ is a story about a cheerful woman named, Mili, who is a young nurse. She wishes to relocate to a foreign country. However, things take an ugly turn, when she does not return home from work and suddenly disappears. It’s then revealed that she gets stuck in a freezer at her work. How she survives and fights for her life forms the crux of the film.

Previously, Anna Ben had shared her experience about ‘Helen’ in an interview in 2019 that the film was an interesting experiment for her. She was not sure that audience would like it. Fortunately for her, she and the makers got good reviews and huge applause for the film.

This year, Anna shared with The Indian Express that she is quite excited about the Hindi version. She also talked about Janhvi Kapoor and said, “I am very excited for ‘Mili’ because Mathukutty has directed the film in Hindi as well. I have heard all wonderful things about Janhvi and how the movie has turned out, from the people on the sets. I know she will be brilliant in the film, can’t wait to watch her.”

Today, Janhvi Kapoor has finally unveiled the two posters of ‘Mili’, where we can see both the cheerful and terrified side of Mili. Fans seem quite excited after watching the posters and flooded the comments section, sending good wish to the actress.

Produced by Boney Kapoor, ‘Mili’ also stars Manoj Pahwa, Sunny Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Raghav Binani. ‘Mili’ is directed by Mathukutty Xavier, who had also directed the original one. The film will be released on November 4, 2022.
