Lucky Ali makes waves with his first ever live concert in Mauritius

Lucky Ali, the melodious musician from the ’90s and early 2000s, recently gave a shimmering time to his fans in Mauritius. This was the Bollywood legend’s first ever live concert in the island country. Organised by Showtime Mauritius, the concert titled ‘Reviving The Golden Times’, was held on August 6, 2023 at the Trianon Convention Centre.

With this live concert, Lucky Ali evoked nostalgic as he performed on his timeless classics like “Jaane Kya Dhoondta Hai”, “O Sanam”, “Ek Pal Ka Jeena”, “Na Tum Jaano Na Hum” and more. These songs are still cherished by his fans worldwide. Although Ali has almost vanished from the industry, his songs are still evergreen among those who grew up in the 90s.

Lucky Ali attended the concert with the ‘Indian Idol 12’ (2020) finalist Sayli Kamble, a rising musician, who opened the concert with her melodious voice and sang for ninety minutes.

Lucky Ali made his film debut with ‘Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’ in 2000 where he sang the song “Ek Pal Ka Jeena” and won millions of hearts overnight. Later he also made is acting debut with ‘Sur: The Melody Of Life’ in 2002 where he also sang the songs “Aa Bhi Jaa”, “Jaane Kya Dhoondta Hai”, “Aao Tumhe Ek Nayi Baat Bataon” and “Khoya Hai Tune Jo Ae Dil”.

Lucky Ali last sang “Safarnama”, the song from Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Tamasha’ in 2015.
