The more the film is nearing its release date, the more it’s making hits on the internet. Ever since director Todd Phillips dropped the news of the Oscars winning ‘Joker’s (2019) sequel in June 2022, fans are literally going gaga over development related it. And why not? After all, the first part blew minds and Joaquin Phoenix’s performance helped him achieve his first Oscar in 2020.
Later, Phillips again revealed that Lady Gaga has been roped in to portray the role of Harley Quinn in the sequel at the end of 2022. Then he posted a picture of Gaga with Phoenix from the film on Valentine’s Day this year and it added to the craze for the film.
And now yesterday, Gaga’s Harley Quinn look got leaked on the internet. According to reports, Gaga was on the sets of ‘Joker: Folie á Deux’ at New York City and was filming few scenes for the film and this is when she got snapped by paparazzi.
In the photos and videos, Gaga is seen in a statement outfit, which includes a red jacket, a checkered top and a black skirt paired with mesh black leggings. She finished off with slicked-back long ombre blonde hair, which further elevated her red clown-inspired eye makeup.
The “Alejandro” singer shot some scenes at Manhattan’s City Hall. Several side characters had also joined her at the stairs of the building during the shoot, who were seen dressed as cops.
Initially, several fans were upset to see Margot Robbie being replaced with Lady Gaga for the role of Harley Quinn. But now it seems that all fans are on the same page, as evident by their comments on social media over her look.
Directed by Todd Phillips, ‘Joker: Folie á Deux’ is all set for a 2024 release.
