Ajay Devgn-starrer Bholaa passed with U/A certificate by the censor board; runtime revealed

The Ajay Devgn-starrer and directed action thriller film ‘Bholaa’ is all set for its grand release. It is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Kaithi’ (2019), which had Karthi, Arjun Das and Narain in prominent roles. The film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The censor process of ‘Bholaa’ was wrapped up on March 20 and the film has been granted a U/A certificate by the CBFC. The runtime of the film is two hours and twenty-five minutes, which is approximately two minutes shorter than the original Tamil movie.

Talking about the film’s runtime, the first half of ‘Bholaa’ is one hour and nineteen minutes long, while the second half has a duration of one hour and six minutes long. The film contains some high-octane action sequences, including a long bike-truck chase sequence. According to the makers, the action of the film is its biggest USP and it will woo the audiences for sure.

‘Bholaa’ is jointly produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Dream Warrior Pictures, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series Films.

The film is about the journey of a prisoner who is freed from jail and is on his way home to meet his daughter. However, his journey is not so simple, as he soon faces a path full of crazy obstacles, with death hanging around every corner.

‘Bholaa’ stars Ajay Devgn in the titular role alongside Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles, while Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan appear in important cameos. It is scheduled to release on March 30 in 2D, 3D, IMAX and 4DX.
