K-pop XG releases their 2nd single teaser, MASCARA

On June 20, HipHop/R&B girl group XG (read: XG) released their second music video’s teaser, “MASCARA”, which will be released on this June 29th. The teaser begins with an intro that pulls the viewer into another world, focusing on the eyes of the XG girls, who emanate an elegant strength to produce a compelling video we can’t take our eyes off.

We also get a brief mention of the lyrics, which is, “I’ll never let another boy ruin my mascara”, the strong statement unfurls alongside a strong beat. This is a fleeting moment, but leaves us wanting more, building up the hype for “Mascara”. The song stands as an anthem for the next generation – emboldened with confidence and compassion. A YouTube premiere page for the official music video “XG – MASCARA (Official Music Video)” was also launched.

With the release of the 2nd Single, “MASCARA” just around the corner, fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the 29th, as visual teasers, CD jacket photos, and other content are slowly revealed. The distribution of the song will start at midnight in individual countries on Wednesday, June 29. The music video will be released at 18:00 the same day. The curtain has finally been raised on the main event, and the official XG YouTube and other social media will be keeping a close eye on the action.
