K-pop XG’s second single, “MASCARA” (released on June 29th) has been quickly gaining momentum, reaching No. 1 on the iTunes Song Chart (Alternative) in 17 countries.

To celebrate this, XG have released two “MASCARA” dance practice videos on YouTube; a fixed camera version and a moving camera version, which shows the dance performance of each member in greater detail. Fans will be able to get better acquainted with the girl’s dance skills and the sophisticated synchronicity of their performance.

Fans have been going gaga over the videos and flooded commenting:

“I’ve never seen anything like this in a rehearsal video before!”

“There are seven dancers, so it’s worth watching at least seven times”

“The videos are a real treat, different from the music videos and they always exceed my expectations!”

“This is the first time in my life that I’ve watched a practice video and been so blown away”

“Everyone is at the highest level, XG are definitely the strongest group out there”

“Synchronized and flawless of course. But their dance skill is so much more than that”

“The background is simple but so perfect, it’s so glamorous”

“If this doesn’t go crazy then nothing will. The performance had everything, no wonder people are talking about it”

It seems that everyone is excited for what XG will do in the future.

“MASCARA” stands as an anthem for the next generation – emboldened with confidence and compassion. “MASCARA” evokes strength, unity, and the bonds of friendship. The bold defiance in the line, “Don’t mess with my mascara” captured the fresh and fearless spirit of XG, as they expressed that nobody is going to make them cry.

XG is a seven-member HipHop/R&B girls group consisting of JURIN, CHISA, HARVEY, HINATA, JURIA, MAYA and COCONA. On March 18 they became the first artists to debut from XGALX, a global entertainment production company with a mission to produce artists with a defined world view, creating a culture of bold creativity. The group’s name, XG stands for Xtraordinary Girls. With their fresh, inventive music and performance, XG aims to empower young people from all over the world, from all walks of life.
