Who can forget that charismatic icon from the ‘90s, Brad Pitt ever! Pitt is that one actor, who can adapt himself with any character, whether being romantic or a spy cop or in suspense thriller or as an action hero. Pitt is also that one infrequent actor, who has made his debut with more than one film in the first year of his career with ‘No Way Out’, ‘No Man’s Land’ and ‘Less Than Zero’ in 1987.
Recently, we have got to know that the legendary actor is going to retire. Shocking right? According to GQ Magazine, Brad Pitt has opened up and shared his dreams and said he is currently eyeing the end, “I consider myself on my last leg. This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?”
Recalling entire three decades of his career and his dream, Pitt further shared, “For a solid four or five years there, the most predominant dream I would experience would be getting jumped and stabbed. It would always be at night, in the dark, and I would be walking down a sidewalk in a park or along a boardwalk and as I’d pass under an Exorcist-like street lamp, someone would jump out of the abyss and stab me in the ribs. Or I’d notice I was being followed and then another flanked me and I realized I was trapped, and they meant me grave harm. Or being chased through a house with a kid I’d help escape but got pinned in on the deck—and stabbed. Always stabbed. And I would awake in a terror. I didn’t understand why it/they would want to hurt me. This stopped a year or two ago only when I started going straight back into the dream and asking simply why?”
Pitt has been married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005 and Angelina Jolie from 2014 to 2019. He has six children with Jolie.
Although the title of the article is ‘Brad Pitt’s Wildest Dreams’ from Ottessa Moshfegh, the author of six books of fiction including the just-published, Lapvona, but it doesn’t give any definite answer to his retirement. Pitt also doesn’t seem waiting to say goodbye already. Rather he gave hints to work as a producer and working on music, which is also one of his passions by saying, “I’m one of those creatures that speaks through art. I just want to always make. If I’m not making, I’m dying in some way.”
