Hrithik Roshan to Jr. NTR: Let’s celebrate International Dance Day with these 5 dancing legends from Indian cinema

Indian cinema is famous worldwide for its song and dance sequences. Many Indian actors have showcased their dancing skills on screen and have become popular for their excellent performances. Actors such as Jr NTR, Hritik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff have been the front face of dance. Let’s look at some of their outstanding dance moves:

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan has won hearts with his dance skills ever since his debut in ‘Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’ (2000), followed by his fantastic performances in ‘Dhoom 2’ (2006), ‘Krrish’ (2006) franchise, ‘War’ (2019) and many more. We can’t get enough of his contagious moves that compel us to get on the floor. His effortless style and precision have made him one of the most sought-after dancers in the industry and how can we not celebrate him today.

Jr. NTR

While the nation went crazy dancing to “Naatu Naatu” from the film ‘RRR’ (2022), we cannot forget how Jr. NTR has won the audience over in past. “Pakka Local” from ‘Janatha Garage’ (2016) to “Follow Follow You” from ‘Nannaku Prematho’ (2016), the actor has brought liveliness to the lyircs with his energetic moves and aura, and we just can’t seem to get enough of it. Director S S Rajamouli also complemented the actor’s dancing skills during the shoot of ‘RRR’.

Tiger Shroff

Tiger Shroff is another name that comes to mind when we think of dance. His incredible acrobatic moves and fluidity on the dance floor have earned him a dedicated fan following and rightly so. From ‘Heropanti’ (2014), ‘Munna Michael’ (2017) to ‘Student Of The Year 2’ (2019) and ‘War’ (2019), the actor has consistently wooed us with his moves.

Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor has been wowing his audiences with his dance moves since his fantastic debut in ‘Ishq Vishk’ (2003). He has since gone on to star in numerous films where he has showcased his versatility as a dancer, to hip-hop-inspired ‘Kaminey’ (2009), his athleticism, precision and passion for dance make him a true standout in the industry.

Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan won the audience over after his debut with ‘Student Of The Year’ in 2012, where he impressed the crowd with his energetic and charismatic dance performances. Since then, he has become known for his high-energy, Bollywood-style dance numbers, from the fun and playful ‘Main Tera Hero’ (2014) to the romantic and dramatic ‘Kalank’ (2019). His ability to connect with the audience through his dance moves has made him a fan favourite.
