Here’s what is absolutely non-negotiable for Priyanka Chopra while choosing her projects

Priyanka Chopra, who has been making India proud globally since quite a long time, has recently been sharing about her struggles, experiences and what she has went through while working in Hollywood.

In several interviews, Chopra shared how Indian culture, skin colour and many things have been tough for the Western people to accept. She also revealed that despite being a famous actor in India, she suffered bullying during her initial days in Hollywood.

Nevertheless, after several ups and downs, our desi girl has finally cemented her career in Hollywood quite well with various acclaimed projects such as ‘Quantico’ (2015-2018), ‘Baywatch’ (2017), ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ (2021), etc.

Currently, Priyanka is gearing up for Amazon Prime’s spy series ‘Citadel’. which also stars Richard Madden in the lead. While promoting the series, both have recently attended Asia Pacific press conference in India. During the event, Priyanka was being asked about the one thing she considers non-negotiable while choosing projects and this is what she answered, “I can’t work with people I don’t like anymore. It’s really non-negotiable for me. I have to admire, look up to and like the people I am surrounded with. I have been doing this for a very long time. I want to be excited about going to work, I want to be inspired about going to work, and that has become non-negotiable for me.”

“So when I meet the people I am going to work with, I take notes. But that truly is something that, as I have evolved, has become truly important to me”, Chopra further added.

Directed by Russo Brothers and also starring Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, Osy Ikhile, Ashleigh Cummings, Roland Moller, Caoilinn Springall, ‘Citadel’ is all set to premiere on April 28 only on Amazon Prime Video.
