From playing a supporting role in Dear Zindagi to the lead role in Mismatched, Rohit Saraf’s rise has been incredible

Rohit Saraf needs no introduction now. The young actor has undeniably made his mark in the industry in a short span of time. With his talent, charm, boy-next-door looks and dedication, he has proven himself as a rising star in the world of Indian entertainment.

Rohit Saraf’s journey began with his debut in Gauri Shinde’s critically acclaimed film, ‘Dear Zindagi’ in 2016. Although he played a supporting role as Alia Bhatt’s brother, his performance caught the attention of viewers, marking a turning point in his career. Rohit continued to carve his path in the industry over the years. In 2020, he starred as one of the leads alongside an ensemble cast in Anurag Basu’s film Ludo and then went on to play the male lead in the Netflix original series ‘Mismatched’. The series is based on Sandhya Menon’s novel, When Dimple Met Rishi. Rohit played the role of Rishi Singh Shekhawat, a charming and witty young man who forms an unexpected connection with the female lead, Dimple. His portrayal of Rishi was endearing, and his on-screen chemistry with co-star Prajakta Koli was highly appreciated by viewers.

Rohit Saraf’s journey from playing supporting roles in big films like ‘Dear Zindagi’ (2016), ‘Hichki’ (2018), ‘The Sky Is Pink’ (2019), among others to playing the leading man in ‘Mismatched’, is a testament to his hard work, determination, and passion for his craft.

Rohit will soon be seen in ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ and also has the much-awaited ‘Mismatched 3’ in the pipeline.
