Football legend David Beckham turns 47, celebrates birthday with family in Bahamas

Legendary and former English footballer, David Robert Joseph Beckham aka David Beckham has turned 47 years old today, May 2. He is currently the owner of Inter Miami CF soccer club, which was founded in 2018 and co-owner of Salford City FC, which was founded in 1940.

So let’s reminiscent some of his memories on his birthday.

Beckham has a career spanning of almost twenty years as a footballer. He has served himself as midfielder for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and England National Team in his whole career. He won nineteen major trophies and got retired in 2013.

Born in London, England, Beckham made his football debut in 1987 with Tottenham Hotspur FC and worked till 1991, then worked with Brimsdown Rovers FC in 1991. Later, in 1992, he made his club debut with Manchester United at the age of 17. With United, Beckham won his first Premier League title for six times. Then in 1999, he played four seasons with Real Madrid FC and won La Liga championship in the last season. After that, Beckham signed a five-year contract with LA Galaxy. He is the first ever English footballer, to play for 100 UEFA Champions League games. He made his England National team debut in 1996 at the age of 21 and was served as captain for six years.

David Beckham has also got a film career in Hollywood. He has appeared in several sports drama films like ‘Goal’ (2005), ‘Goal 2: Living The Dream’ (2007), ‘Goal 3: Taking On The World’ (2009) and many more.

Beckham has been married to Victoria Beckham in 1999, who is an English singer, as well as a fashion designer. They have got four children together, namely Brooklyn, Harper, Romeo and Cruz Beckham.

On the occasion of his birthday, the whole Beckham family went to Bahamas to celebrate. Victoria took to her Instagram and posted amazing pictures from the beach and lauded for David in the caption. She penned heart-warming notes, honouring Beckham for not only being the best husband, but also a great father of their children. She wrote, “I love you so much @davidbeckham you are the most incredible husband anyone could wish for and I feel truly blessed. You are my everything x I love you so so much x happy birthday.”
