Film producer Rajubhai Shah passes away in Gulmarg

On Saturday night January 22, film producer Rajubhai Shah passed away while on a short vacation to Kashmir. He suffered from a heart attack and died immediately. He was 63 and owned the TA Shah Group Of Companies. He produced films like ‘Sarkar’ (2005), ‘Golmaal’ (2006) and ‘Bol Bachchan’ (2012).

Producer Govardhan Tanwani confirmed the news of his death and also confirmed that the last rites will be performed when they bring back the body in Mumbai. They are headed to Delhi from where they have a direct flight to Mumbai. Producers Jayantilal Gada and Praveen Shah were also present on the trip.

As per reports Thawani stated, “He went to the bathroom and when he came out, he simply collapsed even before he had reached to sit on the bed. It happened in the hotel where they were staying. He was rushed to the hospital but he was gone by then. They all are coming back. Raju Shah’s son, daughter and son-in-law had reached Gulmarg this morning”. He also confirmed the time of the death which was exactly 11:15 PM.
