Salman Khan’s production ‘Jugalbandi’ is in the news for a long time. Saif Ali Khan was first offered this movie but he walked out of it citing date issues. Then Sushant Singh Rajput was considered but things didn’t work out. Last time Fawad Khan’s name was rounding in the media for the lead role in the same film. However Fawad had dismissed that report then, saying, “Well, there is a lot of news going around. I am not going to revalidate anything because we are not yet confirmed of anything.”
But now we have got a confirmation from a close source to Salman Khan Films that Fawad Khan is definitely doing ‘Jugalbandi’. The Pakistani heartthrob has been locked to play the leading hero and he has also signed the dotted line. However the hunt for the leading lady and the director is still on. Though Jacqueline Fernandez’s name is coming, it is not confirmed yet.
What’s more interesting is that, ‘Jugalbandi’ will also star Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. Big B will be seen playing a teacher while Fawad will play his handsome student in the movie having music as its backdrop.
In other news, Fawad Khan is not doing ‘Dhadkan 2’ as rumours suggest. There were lots of speculations that Fawad will be seen in ‘Dhadkan’ remake portraying the ‘crazed lover’ essayed by Suniel Shetty in the original. However Ritesh Jain of Venus films who is producing it, rubbished the news, saying, “I don’t know why have these kind of reports coming out. I haven’t even met these people in my life. If I will make a movie, I will surely announce it. But right now we haven’t approached anyone.”
