Kangana Ranaut has always been bluntly straightforward about the entertainment industry. She has always been reminding people about the culture, everyone’s behaviour, way of thinking and all the nasty truths about Bollywood time-to-time. Despite giving flops back-to-back from the past few years, she has never been afraid or stepped back to reveal the dirty politics going on in the industry.

However, if this bold nature made her almost lose her career, it also helped her achieve a huge number of fans following as well. Kangana is someone who never minces her words, no matter whom she is talking about. And this forthright attitude often made her get into trouble.

For example, remember when Kangana talked about the horrible truth about Bollywood’s way of thinking about heroines? Back in her early days, while talking to Anupam Kher in a chat show, the ‘Krrish 3’ actress shared that a “superstar” once told her, “Ladkiyon ki position hai iss industry main, do gaane karo, thodi kamar hilao, do dialogue bolo woh bhi agar kaha jaye tumhe aur side main ho jao. Bas basically pretty dikho. (Do a few item songs, shake your waist, deliver a few dialogues, that too if needed and just look pretty and then stand outside. This is the position of females in Bollywood)”

The 36-year-old actress also shared that “superstar” also asked about her aspirations, wondering why she chose acting as her career, when heroines in Bollywood have nothing competitive to do.

Although she mostly receives hate comments, as soon as this video went viral, netizens took her side and encouraged her for not listening to that “superstar”s advice. A few people even shared their thoughts that if she got the right films and corrected her attitude, she could have brought a monumental change for females in Bollywood.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut has got some comprehensive projects like ‘Emergency’, ‘Manikarnika: The Legend of Didda’, ‘Chandramukhi 2’, ‘Sita: The Incarnation’ and Tejas’ in the pipeline.
