‘90s renowned action hero, Bruce Willis, who rose to fame from ‘Die Hard’ (1988) film series decided to take retirement from acting career all of a sudden. His family announced the news yesterday, March 30 on social media.
Willis’ ex-wife, Demi Moore, with whom he got divorced in 2000 and their daughter, Rumer Willis wrote on Instagram that he is currently diagnosed with Aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities, “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”
“As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up,’ and together we plan to do just that”, Moore further continued. The post is signed by Emma Heming Willis, his current wife and his children Rumer, Scout, Tullulah, Mabel and Evelyn Willis.
They also posted a picture of Bruce Willis, from his younger age along with the news, where he was wearing a white bath-robe along with a black sunglass with a quirky smile on his cheeks.
Just few weeks ago, on March 19, Willis turned 67 years old. Apart from ‘Die Hard’, he has also given numerous other remarkable movies like ‘Pulp Fiction’ (1994), ‘The Fifth Element’ (1997), ‘Armageddon’ (1998), ‘The Sixth Sense’ (1999), ‘Unbreakable’ (2000) and many more.
