Shruti Haasan and Rajkummar Rao who are busy shooting for their upcoming movie ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ will soon be shooting a romantic song in the Lucknow metro.
The train which has been making trial runs in the city will be seen on screen this May. Amul Vikas Mohan, one of the producers of the film said, “The story of our film is set in Lucknow so we want to incorporate as many elements of the city as possible in our film. Our film will release in May 2017 and the Metro will also start in Lucknow this year. So we wanted to be the first ones to capitalize on this and show the Lucknow Metro in a film.”
On being asked to let on more details about the song, Amul Mohan said, “The song is about a young urban couple whose romance has just started to bloom. It’s a romantic number composed by Rishi Rich, the England based Indian music composer. The music is very much like Lucknow, a perfect blend of urban and traditional.”
Presented by Oddball Motion Pictures, produced by Antony D’souza, Amul Vikas Mohan and Nitin Upadhyaya and directed by Ajay K Pannalal, the movie stars Rajkummar Rao, Shruti Haasan, Gautam Gulati, Gulshan Grover, Ranjeet and others. It releases worldwide on May 26th, 2017.
