As Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja celebrates its 30th anniversary, Anil Kapoor remembers his friend and late actor-director, Satish Kaushik

Anil Kapoor took a trip down memory lane on Sunday as the film ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ (1993), which co-starred the late actress Sridevi and was directed by his late friend Satish Kaushik, celebrated its thirtieth anniversary. Besides Anil Kapoor and Sridevi, Anupam Kher and Paresh Rawal also played significant parts in the movie.

Anil shared a series of pictures of himself along with Sridevi, Jackie Shroff, Satish Kaushik and Boney Kapoor on his Twitter account and remembered his late friend and actor Satish Kaushik, who died in March 2023.

Anil Kapoor wrote, “A film that might have not done well at the box office but was made with all heart…directed by my friend Satish…30 years ago….the songs and the train robbery were brilliantly shot by my friend… I believe every project is a learning experience and a cherished one! #30yearsofRoopKiRaniChoronKaRaja.”

Commenting on this post of Anil Kapoor, A twitter user wrote, “I absolutely love this film. One of my favourites from that time & I’ve watched it multiple times as a teenager.
