As Delhi Crime completes 4 years, Rasika Dugal opens up on feeling honoured to be a part of the hard-hitting show

Rasika Dugal has emerged as one of the most talented actors in the OTT space, delivering one power-packed performance after another. As ‘Delhi Crime Season 1’ (2019) marked its fourth anniversary, Rasika’s portrayal of Neeti Singh continued to be a standout performance.

The show, which is based on the true events of the Delhi gang-rape case, shook the nation and brought to light the gruesome reality of gender-based violence. Rasika’s character, Neeti Singh, was a symbol of hope and determination, as she worked tirelessly to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Reflecting on the show’s impact, Rasika shared, “It is so gratifying to be a part of work that touches people’s lives and sparks important conversations about the society we live in. ‘Delhi Crime’ is a story that needed to be told and told sensitively. It is not only a story of one case but implores us to look into how a patriarchal society treats women. I am honoured to be part of such compelling storytelling.”

Rasika will be seen reprising her role as Neeti Singh in the Season 3 of ‘Delhi Crime’, which was recently announced. Apart from she has several exciting projects lined up for 2023; ‘Mirzapur Season 3’, a supernatural thriller series ‘Adhura’, a black comedy film ‘Lord Curzun Ki Haveli’, an improvised film ‘Fairy Folk’, a dramedy ‘Little Thomas’ and a sports drama series ‘Spike’. With her range and versatility, Rasika is sure to continue making her mark in the industry.
