The tech giant, Elon Musk, has recently taken over the ownership of Twitter. The acquisition of the microblogging website began on April 14 and concluded on October 27. The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, began buying shares of the American social media company in January and eventually has become the company’s largest shareholder in April with a 9.1 percent ownership stake.
After taking over, Musk had tweeted, “The Bird is freed” and later posted, “Let the good time roll.” Since then, the takeover has become a literal chaos. A sizeable round of layoffs have been initiated by Musk, informing employees through their emails and their entry barred them into offices. He has even cut off their accesses to their internal systems overnight.
Musk has also recently fired the CEO of Twitter, Parag Agrawal. Although in a press conference, Elon Musk has totally denied the rumour of layoffs of the employees, several top executives and almost the entire board of directors are out of the company.
Now, we got to know that days after Musk acquired Twitter, Amber Heard’s account has disappeared. A number of celebrities have also deleted their accounts from Twitter afte Musk’s takeover.
Amber Heard has been in a relationship with Elon Musk from 2016 to 2018, after she got divorced with Johnny Depp. Earlier, this year in April, Heard had lost a $50 million defamation lawsuit with the ‘Pirates Of The Carribbean’ (2003) star and was ordered by the jury to pay $10 million to the actor. Elon Musk was also asked to testify at the trial, but he did not reciprocate, either in person or in virtual.
Amber Heard’s Twitter account disappearance has been first noticed by renowned American YouTuber, Matthew Lewis aka The Umbrella Guy. He tweeted a picture sharing Heard’s profile showing, “This account doesn’t exist.”
