Alia Bhatt spends Rs. 37.80 Crore to purchase an apartment in Pali Hill; gifts her Juhu flat to her sister Shaheen Bhatt

According to reports, actress Alia Bhatt has purchased an apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra area for Rs 37.80 Crore. The flat has been bought in the name of her production house, Eternal Sunshine Production Pvt Ltd.

Alia’s new flat is said to be of 2,497 square feet and is located on the sixth floor of Aerial View Cooperative Housing Society Limited on Nargis Dutt Road in Pali Hill. The actress purchased the house from Gold Street Mercantile Company Pvt Ltd. The deal was registered on April 10 and she paid a stamp duty of Rs 2.26 Crore. This is the same building where her husband Ranbir Kapoor bought an apartment in 2016 for Rs. 35 Crore.

On the same day, Alia Bhatt also transferred flats 2A and 2B on the second floor of Gigi Apartments in Juhu to her 35-year-old sister Shaheen through a gift deed. These apartments are worth Rs. 7.68 crores, as per reports, for which Alia paid a stamp duty of Rs 30.75 Lakh.

Talking about the work front, Alia, who was last seen in Ayan Mukerji directed fantasy action-adventure ‘Brahmāstra’ (2022) alongside Ranbir Kapoor, will next be seen in Karan Johar’s directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ opposite Ranveer Singh. The film will release in cinemas on July 28, 2023.
