Adipurush to have its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York on June 13

‘Adipurush’ is two months away from release and today, the makers of the film shared a big news which will definitely make every Indian proud. The makers announced that the film will have its world premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Festival on June 13, 2023.

‘Adipurush,’ directed by Om Raut, is an upcoming mythological film based on the epic Ramayana, in which Prabhas will be seen playing Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon will play Sita, while Sunny Singh will appear as Lakshman and Ravan will be played by Saif Ali Khan.

“Adipurush is not a film, it is an emotion, a sentiment,” said Om Raut and he stated that he is excited about the premiere. “It is our vision of a story that captures the essence of India. When I found out that ‘Adipurush’ has been chosen by the respected jury of one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals, I was overjoyed! This premiere at Tribeca Festival is very surprising for me and the entire team since we get to screen our story that is deeply rooted in our culture on a worldwide platform! We are excited to see how the public reacts to the world premiere”, Om Raut added.

Prabhas also expressed his excitement about the premiere and said, “I am honoured that ‘Adipurush’ will have its world premiere at The Tribeca Festival in New York. It’s an absolute privilege to be a part of a project that mirrors the ethos of our nation. To see our Indian films, especially one that is so close to me, ‘Adipurush’, reach the global stage makes me extremely proud not only as an actor but as an Indian too. I look forward to seeing the audience response at Tribeca.”

‘Adipurush’ is all set to release in theatres on June 16, 2023.
