If the latest reports are to believed, Aamir Khan’s much awaited forthcoming wrestling drama ‘Dangal’ release date has been preponed by a week. The film which was earlier planned to release on December 23, will now reportedly be releasing on December 16, 2016.
“The release date is not December 23 now. Aamir and UTV plan to release Dangal a week ahead on December 16. An official announcement will be made soon,” a source close to the project revealed to DNA. This way (by releasing the film a week earlier), ‘Dangal’ will witness three weeks of free run till the second week of January, just like it did with ‘Dhoom 3’ and ‘PK’.
“It makes sense. After all, releasing the film a week ahead did help both Dhoom:3 and PK,” an insider said.
The new look of Aamir Khan as young Mahaveer Phogat was released online yesterday and this never-seen-before, completely different and impressive look has created hurricane not only among the fanbase but also in the trade and fraternity people.
The official announcement regarding the new release date is awaited.
