‘Agent’, the action thriller directed by Surender Reddy and starring Akhil Akkineni, is set for a wide release this month. Yesterday, it was reported that the film’s theatrical trailer will release on April 18, 2023, and today, the makers chose to release a gigantic poster for the film ahead of the trailer release. The poster launch has captured the interest of the audiences due to the daring acts performed by the lead actor, Akhil Akkineni.
At the poster launch in Vijayawada’s PVP Mall, Akhil Akkineni surprised his fans and audiences by jumping off from a 172-foot building. The actor carried off the stunt while taking all necessary precautions. It was a great surprise for the fans and observers, and this is the first act of this kind for any Tollywood hero, a source close to the movie said. Akhil’s reason behind this unique promotional idea was to give the audiences a glimpse of the kind of stunts that he has performed in the movie.
In another development, it has been reported that the makers have announced in a recent press meet that the Hindi release of ‘Agent’ has been postponed.
Akhil revealed that the release of Salman Khan starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan’ on April 21 and other factors made them to change the release date of the Hindi version. “We have decided to stick to the original plan because we don’t want to miss the Telugu release date, that is April 28”, he added.
