Though “Kaabil Hoon”, the first song from Kaabil has come out several weeks after the trailer hit the tube, the wait was worth it. The romantic number, sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Palak Mucchal, shows how two visually impaired people profess their love for each other. In the video, we see Rohan (Hrithik Roshan) and Suhani (Hrithik Roshan) spending some happy moments together and deciding whether “main tere kaabil hoon ya tere kaabil nahin” (whether I am worthy of being in your life or not). The melodious number, set to tune by Rajesh Roshan and written by Nasir Faraz, has a pleasant 90s feel and a catchy hookline that makes you instantly fall in love with it.

The film is, reportedly, an action thriller with a love story at the core of it. Releasing a romantic number that shows the couple in their happier days was definitely a good idea. “Kaabil Hoon” has definitely set the tone for the film and promotional material that would come one’s way as the film march towards its release.
