Yash Raj Films comes on board to distribute Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan in international markets

Recently it was announced that the release of ‘Jawan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has been postponed to September 7, instead of June 2, 2023. The Atlee directed actioner is making all the noise possible to maintain the buzz and now it has come to light that Aditya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan are teaming up again to give ‘Jawan’ the broadest international distribution conceivable for an Indian movie.

Everyone is aware of Shah Rukh Khan’s long-standing association with Yash Raj Films and close friendship with late famous director Yash Chopra, who established the company. It is also known that he is friends with filmmaker Aditya Chopra, the son of Yash Chopra. The phenomenal success of ‘Pathaan’ (2023) strengthened Shah Rukh Khan’s bond with the banner earlier this year and as a token of gratitude to the actor, Aditya Chopra has decided to come on board as distributors for the much awaited film in international markets.

‘Jawan’ will be the eighth film of Shah Rukh Khan to be distributed by Yash Raj Films. The leading production house had earlier distributed SRK’s films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ (1998), ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001), ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ (2003), ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ (2006), ‘Happy New Year’ (2014), ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ (2017) and ‘Zero’ (2018).
